New to the Site
Winter Changeover
The VermontVacation.com website has received its seasonal facelift, including a more streamlined introduction to featured stories. We will be introducing even more design changes through 2007.
New Additions To The Vermont Travel Planner Mean New Opportunities
Itinerary Planner
Planned as a consumer tool the new Itinerary Planner on VermontVacation.com is being used by Vermont's travel professionals. The planner, with its mapping capabilities, is a great way for inkeepers to put together day trip suggestions for their guests. Information centers are using the planner to make suggested scenic driving trips to hand out.

We're sure you will find other ways to use this tool that we haven't thought of. Let us hear from you as you come up with ideas.

Shopping
The Vermont Travel Planner (VTP) now includes a shopping section. This will give Vermont businesses an opportunity to put their product(s) in front of the 50,000-70,000 unique visitors who come to the site each month. In 2006 alone, VermontVacation.com received more than 14 million page views.

Add your listing to the new shopping area now to be listed on day one, it's free and you'll be part of a Vermont directory used by 1,500 visitors each day.

Marketing Tips

Simplify. Boil your message down to a few key points. If it's an ad, make it one key point. Too many words and images translate into fewer people paying attention.
