VermontVacation.com Adds New Shopping Category
Offers Significant Free Exposure For Your Products
The Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing (VDTM) is offering an outstanding free opportunity to all Vermont businesses and organizations that sell products directly to consumers.
VDTM is adding a new Shopping category to the Vermont Travel Planner on the official Vermont tourism Web site, www.VermontVacation.com. This will give Vermont businesses an opportunity to put their product(s) in front of the 50,000-70,000 unique visitors who come to the site each month. In 2005 alone, VermontVacation.com received more than 7.6 million page views.
To participate, all that you need is a listing in the Vermont Business Registry (which is connected to the Vermont Travel Planner). First search www.vermontbusinessregistry.com to see if you are listed.
If you are listed, you simply need to obtain a password by going to www.vermontbusinessregistry.com/VTPWelcome.aspx and following the instructions. Your e-mail address will serve as your username. If you aren't listed, just click on the 'Add My Business' link. Registration is quick and easy.
The Travel Planner on www.VermontVacation.com will display information about your business or organization including a brief description of what you sell, along with location and contact information. The listing you submit can also link shoppers directly to your Web site to learn more about your company, and to purchase your products directly, if you sell online. Products do not have to be strictly travel related to be included.
The new Shopping category on VermontVacation.com is currently scheduled to go live to the public on June 1, so add or update your listing today! It takes just a few minutes to add or edit your information, and you can do it at any time.
