Summer 2005 Campaign
This summer the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing (VDTM), in partnership with the Eastern Vermont Regional Marketing Program (RMP), ran two radio spots in the Boston market from May 22 through June 25. The 60-second spots consist of 30-seconds general promotion of Vermont followed by 30-seconds promotion of various places and events in the Eastern Vermont region.
The department is also running a 60-second spot in Ottawa from June 5 through July 2 a with general Vermont message. The spot supports the Northeast Kingdom Regional Marketing Program's (RMP's) aggressive print campaign in that market.
Last but not least, the department is running an extensive "Resident Awareness Campaign" that encourages Vermonters to explore their own backyard. In addition to print and television, two paid radio spots and two radio PSAs are running on several stations covering northern, central and southern Vermont. The campaign is running from May 22 through August 20.
Summer 2004 Campaign
Last summer the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing (VDTM), in partnership with the Southern Windsor County Regional Marketing Program (RMP), ran three different radio spots in the Providence market from May 17 through June 11. The 60-second spots consist of 30-seconds general promotion of Vermont followed by 30-seconds promotion of various places and events in the Southern Windsor County region.
The department also shared 60-second spots with The Green Mountains Regional Marketing Program (Bennington Co.). Two different spots ran in the Albany and Latham, New York area and in Pittsfield, Massachusetts from June 14 through July 10.
