Drawn To Vermont
2010 Student Contest - Summer Ad

Contest Information:
Vermonters have a lot of pride and love for our great state. We’ve found that some of our best advertisers are the ones who live here and experience the beauty of the Green Mountains and all the fun things to do in Vermont every day. That is why the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing, in partnership with the Basin Harbor Club, is inviting Vermont students to design an advertisement inviting people to visit our state. We call this contest DRAWN TO VERMONT!

Three winning ads, one for each age group: K-4, 5-8, 9-12,  will be published in the Summer 2010 issue of Vermont Life magazine! Additionally, all participants will be entered into a drawing to win a free two-night stay at the Basin Harbor Club, which the student can enjoy with their family.

See below for all the details.

What:
Vermont students will draw or color a picture directly onto a downloaded/printed template from our website. The ad says, “Imagine a perfect summer day in Vermont.” The possibilities for students to be creative and show what they love most about Vermont in the summer is endless!

Who:
Students enrolled in Vermont elementary, middle and high schools, grades K-12, as well as those home-schooled in Vermont, are eligible to enter the DRAWN TO VERMONT contest.

How:
Download/print a template here. Then draw or color your ad right on the provided template. Make sure your drawing reflects summer in Vermont.

Deadline:
All entries must be in-hand by 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010.
